I'm pretty slow at this but I also realize that it doesn't really matter, everything happens in it's own time.  I guess I've let go of the idea of ever making money from music, including enough to make it pay…

It's come to my attention that I don't pay enough attention to this here website.  That's about to change.  Although talk is cheap and I'm a quarter scotch. So don't hold me to it but you know I have plans…

I turned 45 the other day and as an early birthday present I gave myself a not so gentle reminder that I'm getting to that age.  The age of unintended consequences.  It started out simple enough, I've been doing renos…

I was saving this song for the end because I knew I would feel it was more poignant to myself at the end of the year.  51 songs down and yes I'm having a crisis of faith.  I was of…

It's a true story.  I didn't want to release this one cause it hit a little close to home, at least for a while.  Time might not heal all wounds but if you are aware it can give you a…

Holiday season interrupted my streak and then general apathy took over.  I always think that I should have something witty to say if I'm going to say something and yet I never do.  So I'll just say if it ain;t…

I'm sure we all have our list of things we said wouldn't do and yet find ourselves doing them anyway.  I said I would never be in a cover band and well I'm not in a band I find myself…

Sometimes I feel like I have spent my life chasing my tail all the while thinking I was getting ahead.  Going in circles hoping that I'm on an upward spiral.  In the end we go out the same way we…

Some how along the way those of us born in the early eighties got lumped in with the Millennials and seeing as they are know as a somewhat whiny generation that is easily offended and utterly useless without a smart…

Blogging is hard, well not really, but it feels like an exercise in redundancy.  I'm sure no ones reading these so it is for my own benefit and I can't see that it's benefiting me at all.  I guess there's…

The seconds have been buzzing past my head recently and I've been swatting at them like a madman yet I just just keep killing them watching the hours pile up.

Third times a charm.  I've been trying to sum up the motivation to continue this story but it was a bit of a down week.  Internal and external forces at play, Mercury was probably in retrograde or something.  Actually what…

Well I'm old it's official, I saw the crowd last night and realized that if I was there I must be one of them.  I admit I'm not a fan of Gypsy Kings, nor do I like that spelling of…
