Blogging is hard, well not really, but it feels like an exercise in redundancy. I'm sure no ones reading these so it is for my own benefit and I can't see that it's benefiting me at all. I guess there's a lot to catch up on. We're at week 36 or release 36 as I missed a couple of weeks at the beginning, you should be able to find all the songs here on my webpage if I upload the latest song today. It's a lot to keep up with, updating a website, uploading songs to tunecore for release, making album covers, registering songs with BMI and SOCAN. It's all online these days and well you know once you turn on the computer theres so much available distractions it's hard to remember what the original goal was if not to watch shorts on youtube for an hour. So I apologize if you have been checking in to see what the latest happenings are, they're not much and then again I guess they are plentiful. I check in here all the time too, just to see if anyone actually visits my webpage and low and behold people do, from all over the world. I wish you'd drop a comment, tell me where you're visiting from what brought you to my page. Give me some pointers to go on to draw in a larger audience. It's really what it's all about, gaining an audience. Or attracting the right performer who likes my song writing. As much as I enjoy playing music I think the real truth is I could be happy as a songwriter behind the scenes. I would lover to travel more, with the funds to do it comfortably and I am sure I could enjoy touring for a length of time but I also enjoy my own home. We live in Cabos baby, tourist destination for many around the world, where else would I rather be. I wake up early and hit the beach, come home do a few chores, maybe take a nap, make some music, then cook dinner and enjoy the evening. I live the life of dreams but it could do with better financing, I want some more toys you know, like any man. I know it's not going to change my life but I'd like a dune buggy and a drone, not to mention my Land Cruiser could use some new seat covers. Nothing major. I mean it would be nice if the wife could quit her job and we could move to our house in La Paz and I see that as a possibility in the future but first things first. Building a fan base and finding a performer who needs a number one hit single to run with. I'm putting it out there internet, give me what you got.
