Today marks the beginning of what will be herald as common era AJTK, just kidding, sort of.
Let me tell you about my day, what else is there to do. I just got back from the dentist for the second time in four days. Only three hours in the chair this time but at one point I was about ready to bite his fingers off. I don't mind dental work normally, but the chair was so uncomfortable I was losing my shit. It's really quite fascinating how quickly my mind goes dark and the survival instinct kicks in. Finally I had to interrupt and get up to walk it off, he adjusted the chair and the last little bit was a lot better. All is well that ends well I suppose, but I hope not to have to return to the dentist for a long time.
Before my Grama passed away she had to have her last sixth teeth removed. She lived a few more years after that but she had been putting off having them removed for as long as she could hoping she would die before she had to go back to the dentist. I know her pain. I'm a long way from 96, but damn, I wish I had taken better care of my teeth. One of those things as you learn as you get older.
