The seconds have been buzzing past my head recently and I've been swatting at them like a madman yet I just just keep killing them watching the hours pile up.
If I was to say I haven't had time to keep up on a blog that would be a lie, and if I was to say I had nothing to say that mind be one too. The truth is I've been busy, but I'm also lazy and it's hard to find motivation when you can't see the relevance.
But I've been chipping away at it as they say and finally got around to uploading the tracks that I have released on all the major streaming platforms here under the banner of the Singles Collection. It's four so far and I'll make a promise to break my promise and say that I'll keep up with the one a week schedule I said I would keep. My ducks are in a row and I will be releasing a new song each Friday for the foreseeable future until I slip up and fall behind I'm sure. I know I have nothing but time on my hands but I live in paradise now and I'd much rather be at the beach or hiking in the canyons with my dogs then staring at a screen trying to map the future to success. It's guaranteed already isn't it. In my mind I'm a success, I've recorded 54 of my favourite songs and have them ready to go, I've written hundreds of others that are just waiting for me to set up my recording equipment in our new house, I've passed down my genetics and furthered the human race and everyday I wake up to food in the fridge and a woman that loves me. What about that doesn't scream success?
I'm grateful everyday for this opportunity to experience the wonders and magic of the universe and I want to share that gratitude with you my humble audience.
